Right At Home In Home Care, located in Wallingford CT is currently seeking professional CNA/Home Health Aides to assist our elderly clients with homecare services in their homes (Plymouth and Terryville CT location). The ideal candidate should have 6 months of documented CNA, HHA experience, display professionalism at all times, be personable and compassionate, willingness to be flexible, and live in close proximity to Plymouth and Terryville CT locations.

Requirements of the Caregiver:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Reliable Transportation
• Valid Driver's license and auto insurance
• High School diploma or GED
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
• Must have basic computer skills and navigate with little assistance from others

Nice to Have’s:

• CNA or HHA Certification
• 6 months or more of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare preferred
• CPR and First Aid Certification

Must Haves:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• You must have a high school diploma or GED
• Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
• Must have successfully completed a Competency Evaluation that meets the State licensing law for home health agencies
• Current CPR Certificate is recommended
• 6 months experience as a Home Health Aide in health care (in homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide course.
