Job description

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working CNC Operator for a company based in Farmers Branch, Texas. In this job you will be running and adjusting CNC machines, use calipers, gages, and other hand tools, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, reading blueprints and other related duties.

Pay Rate:
$25 per hour to $30 hour depending on experience.
1st Monday through Friday 7am-3pm
2nd Shift Monday through Friday - 3:00pm - 11:00pm
3rd shift Monday-Friday 11pm-7am

CNC Operator Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate conventional, special-purpose, and CNC machines and machining centers to produce low-to-medium complexity metallic work pieces according to specifications, tooling instructions, and standard charts.
Applying knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, maintainability of materials, and layout techniques to ensure performance at high quality and efficiency standards and assist is educating and training co-workers to improve skills and abilities.
Operate one or more previously set-up automatic machines (lathe/mill) to perform series of machining operations to produce parts that meet requested tight tolerances
Maintain safe and clean work environment.

CNC Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
Experience operating and making adjustments as needed on a CNC machine
Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds repetitively.
Ability to Read Blueprints.
Ability to use calipers, gages and measuring devices.
Drug and Background test required.

Job Type:
Temp to hire, based on attendance and performance.
