Job description

We are currently seeking a Program Supervisor to supervise the development of the children enrolled, working in partnership with classroom teachers.

· Ensures smoothness in daily center happenings including offering in-classroom support when needed

· Performs related duties as assigned

· Assists in enforcing daily schedule

· Shares parent communication with Director & Co-Assistant Program Supervisor

· Schedules and conducts new enrollment orientation and visits leading up to first day of enrollment

· Creating and maintain student files

· Receives call outs and next steps for coverage when co-PS is out of the office

· Interview potential team members in partnership with Director and co-PS

· In charge of training and supervising training period of new staff

· Spends some time in the classrooms, observing, modeling and delegating needs to Curriculum Supervisor

· Conducts employee evaluations with the input of supervisor hierarchy & in conjunction with co-PS

· Oversee classroom portfolios

· Provide guidance during quarterly assessment period

· Supervise the maintenance of inventory of supplies and equipment; delegates the distribution of supplies and equipment, assists with providing orders of supplies and equipment to the Director and its programs and follows through on inventory as it comes in.

· Supervise maintenance of classroom environments (indoor, outdoor and storage areas)

· Planning, organizing, and executing center family events in conjunction with co-PS

· Attends a variety of training seminars and community meetings as needed

· Assist in planning, organizing, and executing staff development days (PDD) in conjunction with co-PS

· Utilizes computers for word processing, database management and specialized software related to responsibilities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Education:

  • Associate (Required)

Experience:

  • Teaching: 6 years (Preferred)
  • Management: 1 year (Required)
