Job Summary
The Collaboration Manager maintains accountability, responsibility and stewardship for the M365 stack including Exchange, MS Teams, SharePoint. The role also includes the Audio Visual and Conference Room technology. The Application Owners are responsible for the development, maintenance and overall health of their application suites. Additionally, this role is expected to have four areas of domain knowledge, such as; Technical knowledge, Business knowledge, Process knowledge, and Industry sector knowledge.

Essential Job Functions
Talent Management: Lead a team of highly engaged associates and contractors, ensuring that team meets or exceeds the defined role expectations. Ensure that direct reports understand role expectations. Provide development to a team with ongoing coaching and feedback, performance management, career development and administrative support. Coaching and mentoring development staff to enable them to reach their peak potential and cultivate high-performing teams. Provide peer coaching and feedback formally and informally. Request and utilize feedback to foster personal development.
Process and Technology: Use recognized industry models and methodologies to develop, execute, and continuously improve development practices in collaboration with all major stakeholder and functional roles. Actively participate in the development of technology and integrated application roadmaps. Utilize the software development lifecycle to implement technology solutions that create and enhance applications. Continuously improve applications and processes with a focus on quality, efficiency, and user experience.
Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain organizational strategies that support current and future workforce, business, and financial needs. Appropriately manage resource capacity and demand to meet business delivery and production support expectations.

Leadership: Act in a leadership role to provide guidance to the development team and act as a liaison for multiple areas of the business and external clients. As necessary, work across the organization and function as Project Development Lead for enterprise-scale efforts. Develop and maintain organizational strategies that support current and future workforce, business, and financial needs.

Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships across roles and organizations to maximize collaboration, partnership, and efficiency. Provide peer coaching and feedback formally and informally. Request and utilize feedback to foster personal development.

Technical Knowledge and Application: Expectation is to oversee at least two, preferably three applications focused on application features and one, preferably two, technology platforms (e.g. Java, iOS, Android, Cobol, Mainframe, etc.)

Business Support and Management: Financially Responsible for the labor, licensing and infrastructure of a $1-3M budget. Demonstrate the ability to generate support from others to achieve desired business outcomes in relation to the application. Support one to two different areas of the business such as Credit Risk, Account Protection, Customer Care, etc. Maintain and manage one to two vendor relationships.

Reports to: Senior Manager, Applications, Director, Systems, Sr. Director, Systems
Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements: Normal office environment
Direct Reports: 2 or more (6-10 associates under span of control in reporting structure)

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ten or more years experience working with IT applications (such as developing, implementing, supporting)
  • Five or more years of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in either Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
  • Implementing DLP policies, experience with ADFS Authentication, MFA(Okta/DUO), Azure AD, Azure AD Connect, MIM, Intune, Symantec, Schemus or other Email security tools, federation and external sharing capabilities.
  • Experience implementing and supporting collaboration and conferencing equipment and systems such as MS Teams, Zoom, Slack, Crestron, Poly, Logitech
  • Experience working with O365/M365 applications, Exchange Online, MS Teams, SharePoint on-prem / online.

Salary Range:
$103,000.00 - $261,000.00
The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
