Collaboration Services Manager
Job description
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Works under the general direction of the Communications Services Manager to ensure the functionality, stability, security, and expandability of the Authority’s voice, video, and radio environment which commensurate with the Authority’s goals and requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage the following: Cisco VOIP environment, camera hardware and software architecture, and mobile and portable radio infrastructure.
2. Maintain knowledge of the following: telecommunications architecture, Genetec software, digital cameras and associated communication devices, and resource management.
3. Understand principles, practices, systems, and equipment in the field pertaining to trunked radio communications including system design, testing, maintenance, and support.
4. Lead the coordination of support services and enterprise projects with a core group of cross functional teams.
5. Resolve problems referred by user community.
6. Maintain accurate documentation.
7. Interface with other sections of the Integrated Technology Services Department to ensure proper operation of all Collaboration Services.
8. Act as an independent problem solver with the ability to accomplish projects and tasks with little guidance.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR RELATIONSHIPS:
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all employees of the Authority. Represent the Authority in a positive, professional, and confidential manner in dealings with external agencies, contractors, and all other individuals. Maintain professional demeanor even in high stress emergency and weather situations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent working experience.
2. Three (3) years of related experience.
3. Strong hands-on experience in VOIP and SIP platforms, along with other communication mediums.
4. Understanding of Cisco voice products, Voice/VoIP service provisioning methods, and service delivery.
5. Must have strong multi-vendor project coordination, management, and administrative experience.
6. Understanding of LANs, WANs, networking principles, and protocols.
7. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
8. Must possess a valid NJ Driver’s License.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
