The mission of Myrtle Beach College (myrtlebeachcollege.org) and Pilgrim Seminary (pilgrimseminary.org) is to provide high quality, easily accessible, tuition free higher education in Christian perspective to as many people as possible. Our program is currently available to incarcerated men and women. This year coming will be the first year we will be making online courses available to non-incarcerated students. Our hope is that no matter how dirt poor a person might be, higher education will be as close as their mouse.

Because we do not charge tuition we do not have the ability to hire a fund raising or development staff. Most of our current Board Members are pastors and quite frankly we know little about raising money or long term development beyond the local church. Therefore, we decided to prayerfully place an Indeed ad in hopes of finding Christian men and women and others of goodwill who know about such things who would be willing to help us. At this time there is no plan so the really wonderful thing is that the team will be starting with a perfectly clean slate.

The work of team members would likely be only a few hours per month. The compensation is downright pathetic (a very modest gift card) but the eternal IRA provided is exceptional. If interested, please send your resume and a note as to how you can help to development at myrtlebeachcollege.org
