Job description
Plante Moran enjoys a “Workplace for Your Day” model which, simply put, means no one knows the best place for you to physically work better than you. Our staff choose their work location based on their individual day’s needs, and gives them the flexibility they need when they need it. If staff need to go into the office to collaborate, the space is there, and if they have a day where they need to focus alone, then staying home works just fine, too.
Your role.

- Leading business systems assessments to develop business cases and roadmaps for increasing the benefits received from technology solutions.
- Advising on digital transformation initiatives including managing solution evaluations and procurement projects as well as guiding change management and implementation support activities.
- Developing expertise on Plante Moran’s proprietary methodologies and tools as well as contributing to continuous improvement efforts of our internal assets.
- Advancing subject matter skill in enterprise software selection and implementation project management across a variety of commercial industries.
- Mentoring project teams and developing talent through effective project management and thoughtful performance feedback.
- Developing and displaying acumen in key industrial market segments, such as manufacturing and distribution, by understanding business processes, challenges, and trends.
- Demonstrating a passion for industry and technology through research, thought leadership, professional networking, and obtainment of certifications (e.g., PMP).
- Supporting business development activities including networking, developing proposals, and participating in presentations to prospective clients.
- Guiding consultant and senior consultant staff throughout client project engagements.
- Working with a team in business development activities including meeting with prospects, project scope definition, work plan and proposal development.
- Delivering client project economics including resource management, invoicing, issue resolution and relationship management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management or related field experience is required.
- 6-10 years of recent or current technology experience is required with strong preference towards technology advisory and software implementation experience in manufacturing, distribution or service industries.

- Ability to efficiently manage multiple client projects and practice activity needs.
- Project management competencies with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Frequent travel with approximately 30% - 50% overnight travel with variability based on needs of the project.
