We have an exciting opportunity for a customer facing finance entrepreneur, a commercial change agent who desires working in a team environment to develop margin enhancement for launch and new business automotive programs. The Commercial Finance Manager is critical in winning new business by driving a cross functional team to optimize program return that allows Motus to grow in our key markets. In the product development stage, program margin growth along with controlling working capital are where this role adds a unique value add to Motus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively drive business acumen into launch programs by having in depth program financial knowledge that converts to maximum margin
  • Develop and negotiate quote packages to customers utilizing customer quote forms and processes while defending product pricing and tooling investments to customer's financial analysts and purchasing team
  • Communicate high level program financial status in monthly executive program reviews
  • Manage internal and external launch milestones using Finance Sign Off and Gate review checkpoints
  • Support the development of Capital Authorization Requests for program capital
  • Relentlessly pursue opportunities for partnerships with customers, suppliers, community and the Motus team
  • Provide key inputs to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecast processes working with corporate finance team along with plant and launch teams

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related
  • 5+ years applicable experience in automotive or manufacturing industry
  • Exemplary customer communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for success in this position
  • Experience with Ford, GM and/or Stellantis a plus
