Commercial Lines Account Manager

A Commercial Lines Account Manager has in-depth knowledge of insurance coverages and is able to give sound advice to a wide range of clientele.

Essential Functions of this role

• Provide quality internal customer service to peers by maintaining relationships, managing expectations and professional communication that is friendly, timely and clear
• Provide quality external customer service (clients and insurance carriers) by maintaining relationships, managing expectations, and professional communication that is friendly, timely and clear
• Manage policies by applying knowledge, solving problems and communicating
• Analyze coverages associated with client insurance policies to ensure needs are met
• Maintain client files with excellent documentation and organization of data

Qualifications

• Current Property and Casualty license or required within three months of becoming a Commercial Lines Account Manager
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of Independent Agency system and familiarity with Commercial Lines operations
• Professional Demeanor
• Positive work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with ability to recognize urgent needs
• Flexible with high attention to detail
• High School Diploma
