This is a new role for our growing company! This is a unique opportunity to help shape the position by working and partnering with our leadership and service teams to develop and create communications, materials, and content both internal and external.

A strong candidate must be able to successfully manage multiple communication projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment while effectively communicating with the project and leadership teams.

WHO YOU NEED TO BE

  • 3-5 years of experience in communications, marketing and/or developing sales and marketing presentations.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Strong attention to detail, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience in working in a faced pace environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be a strong collaborator with good time management and organizational skills.
  • Well organized, strong attention to detail, deadline-oriented, strong sense of urgency, and self-motivated.
  • Extensive MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Adobe Creative Suite experience, Excel knowledge.
  • Great multi-tasking, staying organized, and following up on tasks.
  • Experience with video content tools such as Talent LMS, iSpring, and Camtasia is a plus.

THE JOB

The Communications Specialist contributes to C3’s success by performing the following tasks:

  • Designs, writes and edits a range of employee communications, newsletters, and informational materials for internal and external distribution to meet company and client communication/project objectives.
  • o Materials such as Benefit Information Guides, Open Enrollment materials, seminar and webinar invites, flyers, posters, PowerPoint Presentations, and more.
  • Help departments stay up to date on the latest technologies and methods of design, communication, and delivering content for delivering the best-in-class materials for our company and clients.
  • Evaluates and interpret needs, analyze the audience, and determine the most effective means of communication methodology to support the objectives of a function or business effectively and efficiently.
  • Develops and writes presentation materials for firm-wide meetings and events.
  • Works effectively with all levels of internal (and external, if appropriate) stakeholders, to support the execution of communications materials.
  • Create prospect sales presentations, and one-pager communications on value proposition and or product offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (P&C divisions / EB) to help coordinate the development of content (request for proposals, flyers, presentations) and materials for client-specific opportunities.
  • o Heavy PowerPoint support / Branding / Spreadsheets/Excel support.
  • Proofread and copyedit content written by other (teams) to ensure it meets company guidelines and stays consistent with C3 communications strategy and objectives.
  • Attend team meetings as needed to help with planning, and draft corporate communications that will be sent out to all clients (i.e., monthly newsletters).
  • Identify and provide recommendations for new content opportunities (repurpose or enhance existing content companywide).
  • Keeping up to date with software, technical knowledge, or design trends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
