Position Summary

Develops and implements communications and content for the Region 3 Comprehensive Center at ETS (R3CC) in support of program goals and project needs in both Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Understands the work of R3CC and writes clear and engaging content for various audiences and media channels.

Basic Functions & Responsibilities

  • Implements content strategies and tactics in support of R3CC’s mission and goals.
  • Researches, creates, writes and edits various forms of content, maintaining the highest quality of information.
  • Designs engaging content, identifies gaps in existing content, and ensures consistent messaging across all platforms.
  • Collaborates with project teams as needed to tell their story.
  • Accurately communicates R3CC’s activities in language that is understandable to audiences that include non-experts, such as parents and families.
  • Solicits feedback about communications products from key stakeholders and address such feedback while maintaining project timelines.
  • Organizes, plans, and prioritizes work - collaborates closely with R3CC’s Director and technical assistance teams.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to the job function.

Required Experience:


Education

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Instructional Design or related field is required.
  • A Master's degree is preferred.

Experience

  • Demonstrated skill in writing and editing for digital channels.
  • Experience creating, adapting, and managing content for diverse audiences.
  • 2 years of experience in journalism, marketing, content design, technical writing/editing, public relations, or a similar communications field is preferred.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
