Community Action Team Clinicians and Peers
Job description
The team provides wraparound services to high risk youth and their families. Services include but, ae not limited to counseling, case management, therapeutic/peer support, psychiatric services/med management, crisis intervention, behavioral health services, transportation, transition services to an adult system of care, respite care, remedial academic instructions, substance use or abuse interventions and treatment services, referrals for primary medical and dental care as well as referrals to housing and legal services. The CATT Program was designed with a focus on helping children, adolescents and young adults to remain in the community while overcoming any barriers or obstacles that may have prevented this from happening in the past. Clinicians: Masters degree in Behavioral Health Sciences such as mental health counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy. Certification in CFARS and FARS. Minimum 2 years experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral health needs. Peers: HS diploma and Certification by the state of Florida as a Peer Recovery Specialist and one (1) year experience working directly with children or adolescents with behavioral health needs. Successfully complete level 2 background screening.
