We are looking for a part-time or contract Community Manager - Durham that will collaborate with product owners, designers, researchers, and community partners to shape localized public health messages for Durham, NC. While this role is remote, candidates should currently be familiar with Durham, NC.

Responsibilities

• Identify local organizations serving children, parents, and caregivers in Durham, NC.
• Collaborate with community partners to identify messages for the Social Cascade Platform.
• Use tools, such as Canva, to create content for social media.
• Assist community partners with converting content and media into social content.
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness to the network of community partners.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in Durham, NC.
• Passionate, curious, open to new ideas with the ability to research and pick up new technologies.
• Ability to work part-time with at least 5 hours per week within 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
• Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, results-driven startup environment
