The Community Work Incentives Coordinator (CWIC), is funded by the Montana State University Billings Work Incentives Planning and Assistance Program at the Montana Center for Inclusive Education, a cooperative agreement with the Social Security Administration (SSA). This 1.0 FTE position can work remotely.

The Community Work Incentives Coordinator provides Work Incentive benefits analysis, planning, and assistance to individuals with disabilities receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) to facilitate them understanding how employment income will increase their financial well-being and how it will affect their federal, state, and local benefits.

The CWIC works one-on-one with the beneficiary using a variety of in-person and virtual means to promote employment by facilitating their understanding of how the SSA disability benefits and other benefit program rules impact earned wages. The CWIC also will provide financial literacy education both one-on-one and in groups to youths and their families to aid them in lessening dependency on government benefits. The position may require working flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
