Job description
Touching Hearts at Home has an IMMEDIATE opening in Menomonie! We are looking to hire 1 to 2 caregivers to provide companionship to an elderly male client with dementia.
Client #1 We provide companionship for this client 6 days per week. Most days he has coverage from 930am to 6 pm. The client is physically very healthy, however, due to his moderate memory loss (dementia) he requires a companion during the daytime to visit with him, take him out for rides (using his car) and walks, and just someone to keep him occupied and active during the day and into the early evening. You must be comfortable driving him around in his vehicle as this calms him and keeps him happy.
Shifts available are 930-2pm and 2pm to 6pm. Always looking for fill in staff for him.
Client #2 Older couple in their own home. Male has a catheter that needs the bag emptied (pretty simple), PT exercises, meals, med reminders, light housekeeping, and laundry.
Shifts available are 9am to 11am and 6pm-8pm Sundays and E/O Saturday 9am to 11am (Also looking for fill in caregivers during the week)
We are looking for a solid backup for weekdays, evenings, and weekends. We are looking to hire a few people so you need not work every day and the hours are flexible.
Currently looking for people to fill in during the week and cover the weekend hours.
No health care experience is required.

- What we are looking for most importantly are people that are compassionate in serving others and dependable!
- Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must pass a caregiver background check
Wages for these particular clients start at 14 dollars an hour. If you are reliable, dependable, and compassionate after a few months bumped to 15 an hour.
