What You'll Do
Summary/Objective
The Field Services Territory Manager position is designed to improve customer satisfaction with the Companion Animal Health product portfolio, increase product utilization, provide installation and training of devices, and provide ongoing customer support and education for best practices of the product line. The position is expected to work closely with assigned Territory Sales Manager to drive new customer acquisition, placement of additional product lines into existing customers and training for both customers and potentially CAH and distribution representatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Weekly travel throughout the assigned territory or as directed by Director of Sales or Area Sales Manager.
  • Responsible for the success of the relationship with assigned clinics/hospitals in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Companion Animal Health to improve utilization, increase adoption, and minimize implementation time of Companion products.
  • Responsible for identifying, quantifying, qualifying, tracking, and evaluating clinic pain points; and, for facilitating, developing, designing and implementing clinic workflow processes that improve overall customer experience with Companion Animal Health products.
  • Responds to requests for onsite technical support, providing prompt and accurate technical assistance, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex system problems for veterinary clinics, laboratory research, and veterinary academic settings.
  • Provides clinics with guidance, instruction, and training on the Companion Animal Health product line to increase productivity and performance through formal and informal presentations.
  • Provides post sale product installation and validation, applications and operations training.
  • Completes daily activity documentation, including detailed reports after customer visits, by collecting, analyzing and summarizing all available information including detailed satisfaction information.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and regular hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel
Significant travel is required for this job, approximately 50-75%. Most travel is out of the area and would require an overnight stay(s).
Required Education and Experience
  • Position requires an Associate’s degree with a Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • A degree from a Veterinary Technology Program preferred
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred
  • Experience with therapy lasers and or Platelet Rich Plasma procedures preferred.
  • Basic computer skills (ie. Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe)
  • At least one year of experience working in a clinical setting.
  • Basic knowledge of animal disease states preferred.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic products, instrumentation, and clinic processes
  • Candidate must possess an analytical mindset and demonstrable critical thinking skills
  • Must have the availability and willingness to travel up to 80% of work week and flexible to accommodate customer visit requests.
  • This position requires travel to multiple locations within the US and Canada.
  • Typically works standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
  • May be required to travel on a Sunday to be at a customer location Monday morning.
  • Bilingual, Spanish or French is a plus.
