Are you looking for a way to share your warm and compassionate heart to our elderly? We are looking for Caregivers and Care Companions to provide an exceptional level of care and compassion to residents that meets or exceeds facility expectations. Just your presence with our residence makes a difference. No experience is required, and we can provide training for you to become a Caregiver or Caregiver/QMAP on our staff.

Primary Duties:

• Provides care with activities of daily living such as grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair, and maintaining the personal environment (i.e., clothing, linen, personal belongings with the apartment).
• Provides information and encourages residents to participate in community activity programs.
• Transports resident to other departments and/or functions.
• Able to lift 20 lbs. Unassisted. Able to push 40 lbs. Unassisted.
• Maintain resident confidentiality.
• Knows and complies with all Resident Rights.
• Responds to emergency calls, resident/visitor’s requests and corrects environment hazards in an appropriate and safe manner. (Caregivers only)
• Knows and is able to respond to emergency needs such as designed by community policies. (Caregivers only)
• Documents/ reports care provided and resident observations including unusual or significant changes in physical, mental or behavioral conditions. (Caregivers only)
• Obtains/performs vital signs and heights and weights. (Caregivers only)
• Observes community policies and procedures regarding attendance, timeliness, house rules, teamwork, customer service and other policies/ procedures that may be introduced from time to time.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
