Inter-Con is searching for motivated individuals to fill the exciting role of an Armed Diplomatic Security Officer. In this role, you’ll work as a galvanized member of an elite team of security operators protecting some of our nation’s most critical assets and diplomats. You will be part of the comprehensive security solution to protect ours and visiting nations’ diplomats across multiple locations in the United States.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Complex Supervisor assists the GSS and GFC to plan, manage, and evaluate guard force operations as well as manages subordinate supervisors.

Duties: 1) On-site supervision of subordinate supervisors.

2) On-site supervision of large groups of guards or specific sectors or functions of the guard program for the complex to which the CS is assigned.

3) Ensures all guard posts are staffed, monitoring performance of assigned guard force personnel.

4) Ensures that all guard personnel are aware of and abide by all Post and general orders.

5) Ensure the proper enforcement of security regulations through the supervision of uniformed security officers.

6) As required, liaison with DFP Domestic Security Officers concerning issues with UPO personnel

7) As required, serve as initial On Scene Commander during security incidents.

8) In coordination with GFC and GSS, review all post orders for relevance and recommend changes in order to ensure compliance with latest Department regulations SBU - CONTRACTING AND ACQUISITIONS and procedures.

9) In coordination with DFP personnel, review and, if needed, revise facility emergency action plans B.

Minimum Qualifications

· Pass a Physical Readiness Test consisting of push-ups, sit-ups, and a 1.5 mile run

· Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent

· Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance

· Fluent in both the written and spoken English language

· Possess a valid United States driver's license

· Qualifications: 1) Possess a minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a military officer or noncommissioned officer (NCO) (at US E-6 or above or equivalent), or equivalent law enforcement/armed commercial guard force supervisory experience or;

2) Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with four (4) years of successful civilian or military equivalent law enforcement experience with three (3) years that must have been in a supervisory position or;

3) Possess an Associate Degree with ten (8) years of successful civilian or military law enforcement experience which four (4) years that must have been in a supervisory position or;

4) Successfully completed twenty (20) years of civilian or military equivalent law enforcement eight (8) of which were in a supervisory position.

5) Qualify with the pistol and M4, re-qualifying as required by SOW. 6) Complete the DS Physical Readiness Test at the 55% performance level and maintain that fitness level for the duration of his/her service on the contract.
