We are searching for a Compliance Representative II on behalf of our client, a leader in the transportation logistics world, headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon. Our client is a medium sized company that operates the largest truckload freight marketplace in North America.

This position is a remote role with the opportunity to come into the office for team building/company events!

Description:
The Compliance Representative II, working in a high performance team environment, is responsible for assuring the quality and integrity of the company's directory through the gathering of transportation industry information such as Motor Carrier Authority, insurance verification and up to date carrier profiles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review requests for service on all new and existing accounts to determine their eligibility for service and approve those that meet the criteria for service per the Customer Support credit review criteria
  • Delivers customer service, product support, and customer training
  • Audit and validate Broker/Carrier authority of existing carriers
  • Meet performance metrics, which includes schedule adherence, utilization rate, monitoring, and phone/email time
  • Manage and accurately update customer records in Salesforce CRM
  • Make outbound calls and send email correspondence to verify carrier insurance coverage and request updated insurance as needed
  • Train new customers on the use of CarrierWatch, onboard them and provide ongoing support to these customers
  • Update carrier watch lists via requests from customers, 3rd party information providers and internal resources
  • Analyze data from the company directory through the use of Salesforce, Crystal Reports (Business Objects) and Excel
  • Report out as needed and make necessary updates to the company directory based on data retrieved and analyzed
  • Be the voice of the customer by sharing customer feedback to help improve both products and services
  • Share potential sales opportunities with the Sales department
  • Provide backup support to other Product Support teams by taking inbound calls and emails

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of office experience in a professional phone queue environment, working with customers and performing record keeping duties
  • Experience analyzing data using Salesforce, Business Objects and Excel
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential
  • Adept at multitasking and prioritizing, so work is performed in an efficient and timely manner
  • Excellent customer service through phone and email communication skills
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Reliability, punctuality and a professional appearance
  • A hard-wired internet connection to a router/modem with an ethernet cable (wireless, satellite, microwave, and cellular hotspot connections do not qualify because they can compromise security and call stability)

Preferred:

  • Experience capturing and verifying details related to insurance or trucking broker and carrier authority

Schedule:

  • Full time hours, 40/hrs per week
  • Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm
  • Candidates from any time zone will be considered, but must be willing to work Pacific Time (PST) hours
  • Ability to attend onsite team building and training opportunities preferred

Pay and Benefits:

  • $18/hr to start with opportunities for growth. Advancement within the team and the company on a larger scale is strongly encouraged and supported!
  • This is a temp-to-hire position offered by Abbott & Associates, Inc. with their client company.
