Job description
Workrise is currently seeking an entry-level compressor operator located in Carlsbad, NM.
- 1-2 years of gas compression experience required including operating.
- Pay rate: $400-$450/day
- Roation: 14/7
- Will reimburse mileage / tools provided.
Primary Responsibilites include (but are not limited to):
- Operate compressor and all associated equipment for functionality and condition.
- Understanding normal operating conditions/parameters and recognize abnormal deviations.
- Maintaining positive communication with the operations group
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Great attitude and be teachable
- Make safety a top priority
- Understand general oil and gas operations and have a willingness to learn
- Willingness to receive in house as well as outsourced training
- Poses mechanical aptitude and have a basic understanding of a compression engine
- Must have strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships
- Must have computer skills i.e. Word, Excel
