As a Concrete Laborer, you play an integral role in creating quality apartments for our residents to call home for years to come. You will work with our team in new construction, building apartments from the ground up. To be successful in this role you must be reliable, detail-oriented, and communicate effectively.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5:55 am- 4:30 pm

Pay: based on experience between $23 and $30

Requirements

The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a concrete laborer (a must)
• Experience with poured walls
• Able to lift 50+ pounds on a daily basis
• Able to understand direction and retain information
• Operate trowel, float, screed, shovel, and rake
• Only about 20% is finished work, the other 80% is a variety of footing, poured walls, etc.

General

• Operate and care for construction equipment, tools, and machines.
• Assist equipment operator, and other skilled labor when necessary
• Ensure the team has secured the job site, tools, and materials at end of each day.
• Able to stand for long periods of time

• A Can-do attitude
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
