General Laborers needed for area companies can include work in the following areas:

• Construction
• Demolition
• Excavation
• Landscape Workers / Grounds
• Other

Pay $16-$17/HOUR - skilled positions generally pay higher.

These positions will be in and around the Greater Sacramento area.

Responsibilities of the General Labor Worker:

• Perform physical labor at construction sites IE. heavy lifting, loading/unloading.
• May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials.
• May assist other craft industries.
• Maintain a steady workflow by performing prescribed procedures accurately and timely.
• Follow all company instructions, safety policies and rules.
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical labor (including standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and other various forms of physical activity).
• Must have reliable method of transportation to get work location.
• Must be able to work a variable work schedule - hours depend on project.
• Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs. and be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Must have appropriate work attire and safety footwear.
• Must have valid ID/Employment Authorization to prove eligibility to work in the U.S. (E-Verify will be utilized).
• Must have a good attitude and get along well with others.
