Quanta Utility Engineering Services (QUES) is currently accepting applications for a full-time Construction Management Field Engineer for electric transmission line construction projects. QUES is a contractor for a local electric and gas utility in Montana.

This job will be 90% in the field, and will require travel between various project sites around Montana. A company vehicle will be provided and relevant travel and hotel expenses will be paid. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record. Preferred home location for this employee will be Bozeman or Billings, but other locations may be considered.

Responsibilities include:

• Weekly progress reporting, meetings
• Transmission line inspection
• Line crew and engineering coordination
• Permitting
• Construction and project management
• Field engineering assistance
• Landowner notification and interfacing
• Organization of various contractors/resources for the project needs

Requirements:

• Transmission line construction or general construction experience
• Engineering degree in related field (preferred but not required)
• Customer Service skills
• Organizational and Project Management skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Driver's license and clean driving record

Employees will generally work a four-10 hour day work week and will be compensated with an excellent wage and a strong benefit package.
