Our greatest asset has been, and will continue to be, our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Construction Specialist in our U.S. Onshore Resources & Carbon Management, Delaware Basin asset based in Kermit, Texas.
This position is responsible for providing support to the Drilling and Completions departments related to location construction. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage key process metrics to promote pad construction efficiencies
- Manage and assemble benchmark data used to generate quarterly and annual construction reports
- Assist in maintaining the construction data management system, OpenWells, SAP, and ensure the quality of its data
- Generate cost estimates related to pad and lease road construction projects
- Identify project scope and work closely with supply chain management to request bids and select contractors
- Assist in location layout and design; coordinate work with other construction disciplines (facility, midstream, electrical, mitigations)
- Participate in long- and short-term planning and permitting efforts for Delaware Basin Region
- Provide field oversight to ensure operational compliance with all safety related rules and regulations, as well as State/Local rules, regulations, and laws
Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Competencies:
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Candidate must be self-motivated, versatile and willing to learn
- Candidate must be a team player and be able to work on multiple assignments concurrently

High School Diploma/GED

Travel Requirements:
The percentage of travel required for this position is 10-25%.
Work Schedule:
This position is eligible for the 9/80 work schedule.
