Overview:

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Consultant – Research. In this role as a Credence-employed contractor to the Government and as part of the larger Credence program management office (PMO) team, you will provide direct support for the research priorities, initiatives, and programs of the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) and Defense Intrepid Network for TBI and Brain Health. The NICoE improves the lives of service members with TBI and other invisible wounds of war through excellence in TBI clinical care, research, and education. As the headquarters of the 13-site Defense Intrepid Network for TBI and Brain Health, the NICoE fosters collaboration among the many providers, researchers, and other staff working to heal the invisible wounds of war.

Responsibilities:
  • Working closely PMO team members and NICoE and Network leaders and staff in developing and executing strategic, operational, and tactical level products that drive the integrated clinical and research functions of the NICoE and the Defense Intrepid Network
  • Providing research assistance, coordination, and support including supporting government leaders in the execution of NICoE and Defense Intrepid Network’s research agenda
  • Supporting all administrative needs including assisting with meeting documentation and facilitation support; supporting key government personnel with management of daily and weekly activities and management of issues; and, maintaining documentation to record enduring decisions that communicate the NICoE and the Defense Intrepid Network’s mission and the manner in which it will execute said mission.
  • Supporting stakeholder/external coordination including developing and maintaining documentation that assists in the coordination efforts with other stakeholders
  • Supporting responses to taskers as needed
  • Creating and maintaining information briefs and white papers for various audiences
  • Performing related studies, assessments, and/or analysis that provides insight into the effectiveness of the NICoE and Defense Intrepid Network
  • Applying and integrating the results of studies, assessments, and/or analysis into NICoE operations and subsequently into the Defense Intrepid Network for TBI and Brain Health as best practices
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) years of experience working in science or healthcare-related disciplines, preferably with Federal Government or military organizations performing medical research
  • Keen problem solving/critical thinking skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing, high-intensity work environment
  • Highly skilled at operating a variety of technological tools to include the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with the Military Health System (MHS) and its’ medical research preferred

This work is Hybrid with 2 days per week Remote
