The Consulting Senior in the Business Valuation, Forensic Accounting, & Transaction Advisory space supports the department in the areas of business factors and operations, including data analysis and developing, implementing, analyzing, managing, and tracking projects and initiatives. This role may also be responsible for quality enhancements, customer satisfaction, and cost reduction processes to meet the Firm’s strategy and initiatives. This role has the capacity to work remotely!

QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business field is required.

Master’s degree is preferred.

One or more valuation and/or forensic credentials required: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), American Society of Appraisers (ASA), Certified Financial Forensics (CFF), Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE), Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA)

3+ years of direct experience delivering business valuations, transaction advisory, litigation and forensic services with an accounting, litigation or consulting firm.

1+ years demonstrated supervisory experience is preferred.

Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking skill capabilities.

Must have excellent communication skills in business and technical environments.

Strong writing and presentation skills required.

Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, innovative, and continuously changing environment.

Ability to perform effectively, efficiently and with quality under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Must possess a high degree of professionalism including the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.

Must professionally and appropriately communicate with a diverse group of individuals.

Must have a positive attitude and work well independently and with teams.

Must be technically proficient to perform at an intermediate or advanced level with respect to the Microsoft Office Suite of products, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Must be able to work extended hours during the work week and/or on weekends as needed.

May be required travel and work from different company and client locations.

Must be able to reach a P&N office and/or client’s location in a timely manner and ready to perform job responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Plans, prepares, directs and completes assigned tasks in an efficient manner and within allotted timeframes.

Monitors workload to meet billable hour expectations and performs timely reviews of work products prior to submission to Director/Associate/Manager for further review.

Documents procedures performed, findings and/or other issues and drafts/compiles work papers, reports and client correspondence exhibiting effective writing skills.

Performs effective on-the-job training to other team members and demonstrates positive leadership skills.

Assists in planning engagements to achieve quality and efficiency goals.

Utilizes staff in an efficient and effective manner to meet productivity and realization goals.

Performs supervisory responsibilities for staff and intern positions and provides prompt feedback to Directors/Associates/Managers regarding staff performance. Completes staff evaluations after large or multiple engagements.

Assists in the preparation of proposals and continues to develop network for future practice development opportunities.

Translates and communicates business needs in clear technical terms to the technical resources and the technical details in simple business terms to the leadership and non-technical people.

Builds and maintains trusted relationships with diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter experts.

Complies with the professional and Firm requirements (e.g., employee handbook requirements, time entry procedures), quality control document requirement, confidentiality requirements, proposal, personnel, and job related information.

Attends and actively engages in training sessions or meetings as required.

Maintains a positive attitude and is receptive to feedback.

Maintains the required CPE for firm and licensing requirements.
