Consumer Lending Servicer
The Consumer Lending Servicer is responsible for all consumer loan servicing function
What you will do…
- Assist with general ledger reconciliation from the origination and servicing systems as they relate to the consumer loan portfolio.
- Processes timely lien releases, UCC Terminations, and WRA Releases in accordance with loans paid in full
- May submit removal requests for erroneous credit bureau inquiries.
- Responsible for facilitating all transactions related to vehicle titles, to include relocations and title changes.
- Facilitate and complete requests for collateral changes
- Processing the necessary documentation to secure interest in Collateral (Stock / Titles / UCC)
- Serve as the lending Subject Matter Expert, assisting with questions or concerns regarding consumer lending.
- Assist with new release testing for the loan origination and servicing systems, reviews of SOPs, and reviews of statements, loan payment coupons and protection products
- Must have knowledge of consumer loan protection products for Credit Life, Mechanical Warranty, Credit Disability, Debt Protection, GAP (Guaranteed Asset Protection), and Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) as it pertains to premiums, fee assessments, claims, submissions and posting of proceeds.
- Process claim payment transactions
- Collect and review for completeness the documents applicable to insurance servicing or claims need.
- Perform loan research and loan recalculations as needed to respond to member disputes. Complete adjustments to payments as necessary, including refunds and re-posting.
- Process all applicable transactions related to loan changes for Stock products, to include Stock transfers, Stock sales, & Certificate releases
- Manage title and lien pipeline to ensure organizational risk is mitigated and liens are perfected timely for oversight of Unperfected Lien loan process. Monitor and perform timely placement of lien recordings in favor of Publix Employees Federal Credit Union.
- Work with dealer partners to facilitate title releases or transfers and monitors dealer performance
What you need…
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in a financial or lending environment is preferred
- Experience with SCRA, MLA, FCRA, UDAAP and related Consumer Lending regulations preferred.
- Knowledge of Regulation CC and check handling procedures is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of the consumer loan servicing and origination systems is preferred
- Must have knowledge of consumer loan protection products for Credit Life, Mechanical Warranty, Credit Disability, Debt Protection, GAP (Guaranteed Asset Protection), and Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) as it pertains to premiums, fee assessments, claims, submissions and posting of proceeds.
- Excellent time management, strong attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skill, and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office product skills
