Job description
SGE Marketing Services, an affiliate of Spring-Green Enterprises is hiring full-time, year-round Contact Center Sales Representatives to be key players in our Call Center located in Plainfield, IL. This is a hybrid remote/onsite work arrangement after successful completion of onsite training. Summary
Under the direction of the Contact Center Sales Manager, performs customer service tasks, as well as inbound and outbound call center sales functions; handling inbound calls, answering sales related questions, responding to service requests and inbound leads by telephone and/or email, selling lawn care and pest control services over the telephone, calling existing customers to sell additional services, prospecting, and executing various outbound telephone sales campaigns toward sales goals. Other duties may include; completing property measurements, following up on property evaluations and survey results, and other sales initiatives as assigned
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answers incoming sales calls, emails, and click-to-chat web-based submissions. Directing and assisting customers as needed with additional sales questions or needs.
- Performs outbound sales calls by thoroughly explaining available and recommended services in response to marketing efforts and property evaluations.
- Explains lawn care and pest control services, quotes prices and uses selling techniques to encourage customers to buy.
- Follows up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.

- Accurately document each call.
- Thoroughly communicate the appropriate information to customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing, in a friendly, caring manner.
- Perform data entry maintenance activities associated with maintaining customer information, processing of credit card payments, documenting customer conversations and account updates.
- Generate and send confirmation & prepay letters, invoices and statements to customers
- Performs measurement collections based on assigned areas.

- Regular and predictable onsite or online attendance is required for interaction with current and potential customers, franchise owners, potential business partners and other internal personnel, as well as access to pertinent data, computer and phone systems. Possibility for a hybrid (part onsite / part remote) work schedule.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; some college course work in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications or related subject matter preferred.
- Minimum two to three years of inbound or outbound telephone sales and/or customer service/call center experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum typing skills 45 WPM.
