RoundGlass is building out a dynamic content team for our Food vertical – an app-based community that brings people and their passion of wellbeing and food together. This vertical is designed for users to engage with a library of rich content, social experiences, knowledge sharing, and wellbeing resources.
We’re looking for an outstanding
Content Lead to oversee the Food content initiatives within RoundGlass. You’ll oversee the creation of all Food content from video content and audio tips to social copy with a keen eye to spotting dynamic talent and creating content that integrates food and wellbeing. You will build a wholistic wellbeing food vertical, which is a key aspect of RoundGlass. You will also have a sharp eye for dynamic language, and write compelling headlines and display copy.
Our food platform is primarily a vegetarian and vegan platform, and you must have a strong knowledge of the nutritional aspects of food. This role requires strategic vision, strong video experience, editing and communication skills, in-depth culinary knowledge across different cuisines, creativity, wide-ranging curiosity, and understanding how the food contributes to a person’s wellbeing.
RoundGlass is an international company and as the Content Lead for Food, you will shape the editorial style for a global audience of wellbeing seekers.
As part of the content team, you will help build an audience, while maintaining brand voice and editorial tone. You will collaborate with departments across the RoundGlass ecosystem to help define both the brand story and the language for speaking with the consumer.
Must be able to work in our Bellevue office. Annual salary range $115,000-$140,000
What you’ll do:
- Develop a comprehensive guide for the Food vertical that will define the RoundGlass POV on food and wellbeing. This will be circulated for approval and then updated and refreshed on a quarterly basis.
- Work closely with a team of nutritionists to ensure that all Food content published on the RoundGlass has a clear connection to and tie-in back to health and wellbeing
- Ensure all copy (both editorial and marketing) is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience including online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person
- Examine ethical considerations, including what topics are off limits, how to tackle contentious issues and choice of words
- Work with the marketing lead to ensure that the Food messaging is content are consistent across all channels and pitch ideas to the PR team
- Influence best practices in content, messaging, writing, and style
- Establish workflow for updating older content and ensuring that all content published on the Food vertical has a strong, clear connection to wellbeing as defined by the POV
- Report matrix and dashboard maintenance
Who we’re looking for:
- 10-15 years of experience in food-related content creation as well as editing; management experience is strongly preferred
- Experience creating outstanding video content with a keen eye toward making educational content entertaining
- The culinary knowledge required to edit recipes and other cooking content authoritatively — recipe development expertise is required
- Exposure to and understanding of international stands of content quality and strategy
- A creative thinker with progressive ideas
