AKA NYC is seeking a Content Producer, who will be leading content-related production for various assigned projects across the agency. This will include pre-production through finishing and delivering. The Content Producer will lead both AKA’s in-house teams as well freelancers when appropriate. Reporting to the Director of Production, the Content Producer is a full-time exempt position that is based in New York City.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead and organize the entire production process, including concept development, estimating, facilitating logistics for on-site production, VO recording, music composition, union requirements, post-production oversight and budget reconciliation for motion deliverables as well as photo shoots.
  • Track and execute talent payments via Extreme Reach.
  • Ship finished TV spots via Extreme Reach. Liaise with Creative Studio, Client Services, and Media to ensure that all jobs are scheduled, completed, and billed in a timely and efficient manner. Prepare and oversee production schedules and coordinate flow of in-house production team with other agency producers.
  • Identify new initiatives and process improvements that increase efficiency and the quality of work.
  • Work closely with other teams to seek improved communication and delivery.
  • Use a high degree of professional judgment in order to resolve scheduling challenges/conflicts.
  • Effectively lead workflow across multiple engagements, keeping tasks on course and on track, and projects on budget.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3+ years of Production and Post-Production experience
  • A dynamic and responsive person who is proactive, works autonomously, and possesses strong problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with a team and delegate effectively
  • A proactive, creative, and lateral thinker
  • Strong focus on client satisfaction and ability to anticipate clients' needs
  • Confidence to make recommendations with a substantive rationale
  • Proven experience of responding quickly and directly to clients
  • A love of entertainment, art and pop culture

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • A competitive salary between $70,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience
  • A generous PTO entitlement, including:
    • 20 days vacation per year, increasing with years of service (to a maximum of 25 days)

    • 1/2 day Summer Fridays between mid-June and Labor Day
