Metric Engineering, Inc. is looking for a CSS (Contract Support Specialist) to join our Central Florida ITS CEI (Intelligent Transportation Systems Construction Engineering and Inspection) group. This role will be based out of our ITS/Traffic Operations Office in Lake Mary, Florida. This individual will be responsible for ITS CEI contract administration on FDOT and CFX projects. This will include reporting and documentation of construction progress as well as client management responsibilities.

Day-to-Day:

• Performs basic contract administration functions for technology-based transportation projects
• Import information into Materials Acceptance and Certification System (MAC)
• Reads and comprehends contract documents
• Maintain inspector’s daily report of assigned work activities in PrC
• Maintain overall project diary in PrC
• Prepares monthly construction estimates
• Record and maintain project meeting minutes
• Assist in the review and modifications of schedules, specifications and drawings
• Prepare Supplemental Agreements and Work Orders per FDOT and CFX Specifications

What you should bring:

• High school diploma
• CTQP/FDOT Final Estimates II
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in road & bridge, traffic signal projects, or civil engineering degree
• Ability to communicate and interpret pay quality and test data from CEI Staff
• Ability to interpret traffic signal plans, specifications, and contracts
• Excel, Word, Adobe & Microsoft programs experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
