Pay: $120,000 to $145,000 per year.

Work Location Address: 1401 Landmark Drive, Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, 53527

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Generates various monthly reports, reconciles accounts and leads the financial close process for their assigned Business Units in accordance with ALCIVIA policies and timelines
  • Reviews Expenses for assigned Business Units with the Operations and Commercial teams to ensure proper classification and budget variance analysis
  • Schedules all physical inventories, investigates discrepancies and reconciles inventories for their assigned Business Units
  • Produces reports on shrink/gain
  • Will personally observe inventory counts at locations throughout the fiscal year.
  • Monitors bookings/prepays for correct pricing and item identification
  • Monitors sales invoices for proper margin and billing procedures
  • Monitors processing throughout the month to ensure that we are staying on pace, addressing any issues that arise and Partner with the CSR and Admin team to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of processing.
  • Generates reports on sales and margin
  • Leads monthly P&L review meetings with Operations and Commercial teams
  • Leads monthly P&L review meetings with CEO and CFO to review and finalize monthly financials and ensure proper accruals have been booked if required
  • Trains employees on processes as needed
  • Produces year-end reconciliations, accruals with associated documentation, and journal entries
  • Provides information and documentation to the outside auditors as requested


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or related field required
  • Minimum 4-5 years of operations experience required. Including general accounting experience preferred
  • Familiarity with the Agricultural industry preferred
  • Strong detail orientation skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
