Job description

The Controller is responsible for ensuring that primary responsibilities are delivered in compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, HCBS guidelines and the contractual requirements of Community Agencies and other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

· Degree in finance or accounting.

· 5 years of experience in accounting or related field

· CPA preferred

· MBA preferred

Essential Functions

• Comprehensive oversight for the market’s financial analysis and accounting needs
• Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
• Manage the market’s month-end close, forecast, and budget process
• Lead and oversee regional accounting team, including the accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing departments as applicable
• Prepare monthly reporting packages for management
• Work with the Corporate Controller to ensure appropriate capitalization and cost accounting under U.S. GAAP standards
• Accurately track project costs for capital projects
• Establish a system for managing and maintaining records for all fixed assets and calculated depreciation
• Prepare monthly balance sheet & sub-ledger reconciliations
• Maintain and develop positive business relationships with Operations to ensure timely and accurate recording of business activities
• Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
