Job description

We are seeking a top-notch Controller for our established and very successful distribution company. Our ideal candidate has a proven track record in hands-on accounting in the distribution or manufacturing arenas , has managed a small staff, and has been an integral member of the senior management team.

This company has multiple locations in the US, but Atlanta is the Corporate Headquaarters.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· ensure the preparation of monthly financial statements and other management reports

· provide timely financial information to the senior management

· oversight and production of accounting reports

· budgets and forecasts

· oversight of A/P and payroll

· support the auditors and tax advisors in the development and execution of the company’s taxation strategy

· ensure all tax returns are submitted correctly and in a timely fashion

· manage cohesive and efficient accounting staff

This is a fully on-site position, but a minimal hybrid schedule is available.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral are required. Accounting degree required, CPA a plus, but not required. Outstanding technical skills, including Excel, are a must.
