Delta Engineering is a Belgian company with a branch in Norcross, GA to serve the US and Canadian
market. As a machine builder, we build downstream equipment for automation in the plastic bottle blow

molding industry, and we are market leader in this domain in Europe.

For this US branch, we are looking for a motivated technician to help expand the company in the US.

He/she will work in team to reach the company targets. The job will be customer oriented and project

driven, thus demanding both flexibility and communication skills.

Controls Engineer

Major tasks and responsibilities 
Develop application software for new projects and update the existing machines 
Capable of troubleshooting and correcting existing machines/programs 
Capable of programming PLCs/robots and HMIs 
Support colleagues and customers with controls related problems 
Responsible for the functional operation of the machines in cooperation with a mechanical designer 
Responsible for writing the manuals

Qualifications and profile 
BS in Engineering preferred with a preference in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering 
1+ years of relevant work experience on PLC programming 
Siemens and/or Omron experience preferred 
Good software skills (MS Office, internet…); 
Willing to learn and improve skills and knowledge 
“Can do” mentality 
Excellent interpersonal skills 
Detail oriented 
Capable of working without sponsorship
