Job description
Member Duties : The VISTA will work with the Conway Ministry Center to increase the capacity of the client-choice food pantry to assess community need, develop partnerships to address food insecurity, and utilize volunteers in the pantry. This VISTA’s key objectives will include supporting the implementation of the client-choice food pantry, increasing the organization’s capacity to use volunteers, and supporting the organization’s fundraising and grant writing efforts. The VISTA member will fight poverty by supporting the implementation and adaptation of client choice food pantry services which will connect low-income citizens to community resources so that citizens can enjoy an improved quality of life.
