Job Summary
Provide expedient service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Each cook’s primary objective is to ensure our guests have an efficient, delicious and memorable experience.
Activities & Responsibilities
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Raghorn Grill & Tavern.
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces regularly and at the end of the shift.
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
- Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and other similar duties, as assigned.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer feedback and/or suggestions for improvement as necessary.
- Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
- Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
- Other similar duties, as assigned.
Job Types: Part-Time (Approx. 30 Hours Per week)
Pay: $15.00-17.00 per hour (DOE)
Other Pay & Benefits: Bonuses, Performance Incentives & Paid Time Off after 1 Year
Experience:
One to two years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
Current Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
Experience with various cooking methods and procedures
Familiar with industry best practices

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
