SERVICE: New Beginnings Center, Residential Services for Children & Youth
HOURS: Full-time days, typically 6:30am to 2:30pm
RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will coordinate kitchen operations and procedures such as planning meal schedules in accordance with state and federal standards, prepare and serve meals, and complete and submit mandatory paperwork. This position will be responsible for purchasing and inventorying food items, and will be tasked with overseeing residents and staff working in the kitchen. Will maintain an active knowledge of child and adult nutritional guidelines, and provide kitchen training to staff as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years old and be able to complete orientation training according to agency program standards. Knowledge of state and federal nutritional guidelines, preferred. Candidate must be able to multi-task, possess great attention to detail, have good organizational skills, and have the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Computer skills are essential.
Must successfully complete all agency background checks. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain approved driver status.
SALARY: Dependent on experience and qualifications
