Job Purpose:
To work closely with the Executive, Creative, Legal and Operations staff to ensure custom projects are managed professionally and effectively in a financially responsible manner and to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all assets.
What You’ll Do:
The Creative Coordinator works closely with clients and the Bleeding Fingers Music team to deliver superior original and authentic custom-made music created on demand and tailored for diverse projects. The Creative Coordinator is an Administrative role and the "central hub" of communication across internal departments at Bleeding Fingers Music. The Creative Coordinator liaises with Creative, Legal, Financial, and Operations staff to ensure custom projects and all assets are delivered accurately and on time.
Creative Team and Composer Coordination:
  • Work with Creative Managers in a fast-paced environment to deliver multiple, simultaneous assigned projects within time, scope and budget constraints while maintaining BF's highest quality standard and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Adhere to established digital asset management protocol and ensure all relevant information is correctly archived.

  • Provide briefs and audio references to composers for client projects at the discretion of Creative Manager(s).
  • Provide Creative Managers' revision notes to composers upon request.
  • Maintain and update internal Creative Team project documents daily.
  • Maintain and update internal tracks/cues/video files on Soundcloud and Box accounts daily.
  • Liaise with the Creative Team and Assets Manager to ensure Label Copies are maintained, updated, and delivered.
  • Coordinate composer time to ensure downtime is minimized and composers are 100% utilized.
  • Track work for hire composer specialties, playlists, credits, etc.
  • Maintain timely delivery of approved Invoices to Accounting, Performer Consent Form and NDA information to Legal.
  • Monthly P-Card and Paypal tracking with Office Manager to ensure receipts are accounted for.
  • Maintain "General / Unused Tracks" Internal Playlists.
  • Stay informed of industry news including current programming trends, musical trends and genres, new productions, etc.
  • Instigate and manage Archive Database.
Technical Coordination:
  • Instigate and manage Archive Database.
  • Maintain and update Inventory of Composer Studios and Tech Closets - hardware and
  • software.
  • Execute purchase requests for technical hardware and software upon Manager approval.
  • Assist Tech Team and Office Manager with new studio build-out purchases and orders tracking upon request.
  • Field Composer and Composer Assistant technical troubleshooting questions to the Tech Team.
  • Maintain and update equipment sign-out and sign-in sheet.
Awards and PR Coordination:
  • Liaise with Marketing Coordinator to provide project updates for PR, IMdB, Bleeding Fingers website, Soundtracks, new Albums.
  • Liaise with Marketing Coordinator to submit for various Awards: Jackson Wild Media, MASA, News and Doc Emmys, Primetime Emmys, SCL Awards (to name a few).
Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in the entertainment industry preferred with essential music skills.
  • Prior experience working within a Music Department setting and/or Administrative role.
  • Familiarity with Music Department on film or television productions, particularly with editors, music supervisors or similar.
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to understand and effectively communicate and translate briefs in musical terms.
  • Familiarity with many different genres of music, musical score, instrumentation and musical terms and a willingness to listen to and learn unfamiliar works.
  • Ability to read sheet music.
  • Familiarity with ProTools, Logic, Cubase, or similar DAWs.
  • Familiarity with Sibelius or Finale Notation Software.
  • Effective communicator, strong oral and written skills.
  • Follows tasks through to completion.
  • Extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Self-starter; self-motivated; takes initiative on projects and figuring out answers to questions.
  • Strong research and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with the production of recording and electronic media projects.
  • Must be willing to work around production schedules and deadlines including availability to work nights and weekends.
  • Proactive and shows initiative with a sense of urgency.
  • Collaborative, flexible, positive disposition, with a strong TEAM mentality.
  • Passionate about working in the creative industry and providing a quality product to clients.
