Coordinator, Med Tech, Laboratory Billing
- Works in conjunction of the Laboratory Managers to coordinate financial, billing, and compliance activities for the CKHS Laboratories.
- Reviews changes to the charge description master. Performs audits as directed by the Finance or Compliance Departments.
- Interfaces with the Finance Department to supply registration, billing, and financial information as it relates to Laboratory services.
- Reviews, approves, and maintains outside Laboratory billing invoices for the CKHS Laboratories.
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in Medical Technology required
- Three Years Laboratory experience required
- Registration by the Registry Board of the American Association of Certified Coders (AAPC) as MT or MLT preferred.
- Knowledge of Laboratory coding preferred.
- Experience with Cerner LIS preferred
