HIRING SALARY RANGE: $36,121 - $40,134
Hiring salary will be determined based on education, experience, equity, budget, and market considerations.

Description of Duties
Copy Shop Supervisor
Maintain copiers on campus and work with vendors on leases for new or replacement machines.
Complete copy jobs for faculty and staff in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate paper inventory and order paper, card stock, binding combs, laminating film, cords and cables, microphones, stand and other equipment for sound equipment as needed.
Operate scanner; laser cutter; fax; and laminator.
Maintain the PA system in the Physical Education Center (PEC).
Supply audio support for campus events (Koffeehaus, Powwow, Welcome Day, Family Day, Discovery Day, Commencement rehearsal, etc.); provide audio and video support for outdoor movies.
Coordinate with an outside contractor for Commencement audio support.
Train students and staff on use of copier functions.
Provide backup in the library as needed.
Textbook Manager
Maintain a textbook database and records management system, and distribute textbooks, and other equipment for Residential, Online, and NCSSM Connect students.
Order new textbooks as necessary, and track all departmental orders. Liaison between vendors and departments for book orders and deliveries.
Barcode and add new textbooks to the system. Maintain accurate book lists and surplus unneeded books.
Repair books manually and coordinate with bindery.
Collaborate with department Deans and Registrar on needs versus textbook availability. Maintain organized storage.
Train and supervise student assistants to perform bookroom duties.
Annually update textbook policies and create distribution schedules.
There is the possibility of some overtime/weekend work at peak textbook checkin/checkout periods.
This position is expected to work on-site, so no remote options are available.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of organizational operation relevant to textbooks, copy room and library initiatives.
Ability to explain and interpret information to clients/customers, students, faculty, and staff; and apply and interpret NCSSM and UNC System procedures, policies, and regulations.
Ability to anticipate issues and develop recommendations for management.
Superior written and verbal communication skills as well as advanced organizational and administrative management skills.
Ability to pay attention to detail and strong time management skills.
Minimum Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred: experience in customer service or student support; experience with electronic records management and digital technology.
