This firm is hiring a Corporate Staff Attorney in Louisville to assist their top corporate teams with mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactional work for their global clients. This firm offers excellent salary, benefits and the exposure to complex business deals for very large companies across the U.S
Highlighted Duties:
- Effectively manage, prioritize and complete all position responsibilities
- Consult and advise firm’s corporate teams and clients on corporate matters such as: commercial transactions, contracts, real estate, mergers & acquisitions, corporate compliance, SEC reporting, venture capital, etc
- Review and draft correspondence, contracts, closing documents, etc.
- Work on due diligence projects
- Research and develop legal opinions and memoranda on corporate matters
- Stay abreast of corporate law and future laws that may affect the clients
- Work closely with the technology team to ensure optimum work flow
Highlighted Requirements
- Kentucky License or Acceptable UBE for immediate admittance
- One year of experience in Corporate and Transactional law
- Business undergrad degree is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients and teams across the U.S.
- Must be a self-starter with ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
