This leader will shape communications and build trust across our full stakeholder community - crew, farmers and suppliers, customers and consumers, animals and the environment, and stockholders. As part of the communications leadership team, they will help us continue raising the standards within our industry and across the business landscape. They're a bold thinker with a high-risk tolerance who understands how to help a company navigate shifts in culture and business.

That's where you come in.

As Vital Farms' Corporate Communications Manager, you'll:

• Continue to build the Vital Farms reputation within the farm community through two-way dialogue
• Support ongoing communication with customers, suppliers, and stockholders
• Drive earned media coverage through key business press outlets that help us build awareness with investors, analysts and business thought leaders
• Refine our approach to executive communications across our senior leadership team with an increased emphasis on premier speaking engagements and amplification on LinkedIn
• Anchor our crisis response and issues management operation by organizing internal teams, timelines, and deliverables
• Work with our leadership team and key external partners to build a clear view of the public policy and regulatory outcomes we want to shape, and help us execute against that vision
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with our senior leadership, investor relations, farm support and compliance teams to shape the way we build trust with the stakeholders they work with every day
• Lead development of communication assets, including speeches, byline articles and op-eds, and LinkedIn content
• Roll up your sleeves as a member of the communications team, as needed, to support the work we have to get done to engage with our stakeholder community, steward Vital Farms reputation and build brand trust

What You Bring to the Table:

• Passion for Vital Farms and understanding of our commitment to honesty and transparency. You give a sh*t about ethically minded food production and purpose-driven brands.
• Proven track record of building world class communications and public affairs systems, process, and programs.
• Ability to write compelling communications on short notice for high profile executives delivered in highly visible forums
• Bachelor's Degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or marketing preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of experience in communications or public affairs.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft suite of products.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. Desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Said another way: you don't like monotony!
