Primary Responsibilities

  • Completion of closing financial statements in accurate and timely manner
  • Completion of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packs
  • Monthly analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
  • Assist with the implementation, and conversion from SAGE 100 to SAGE Intacct
  • Providing direction and training to accounting staffs in areas related to finance, financial reports, internal controls, payroll, etc.
  • Providing direction to the AR group to ensure proper revenue reporting and reconciliation. Supervise the reconciliation of cash and credit card deposits.
  • Proactive leadership of the financial analysis, administrative, and accounting functions of the US business operations
  • Leading the audit function including maintaining effective internal controls and ensuring adherence to corporate policies & procedures
  • Assist in the review the CAPEX process and assist the procurement team with inventory variance analysis and adjusting entries
  • Provide management with independent, forward-looking financial & operational insights
  • Provide strategic support while acting as a resource to CFO and SVP of Accounting
  • Ensure that the financial statements are in compliance with US GAAP accounting principles
  • Assist with federal, state tax questions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Account or Finance
  • 7-15 years applicable experience working for a publicly traded company
  • CPA, MBA, CMA or other evidence of technical competence preferred
