We have a great opportunity for a Corporate Environmental, Health and Safety Manager. This role will support all of our locations - VT, MA and NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing EHS guidance, resources and support to site operations.
  • Establish safety awareness programs to maintain safe and healthy work environments and safe work practices among employees.
  • Develop and coordinate implementation of company-wide policies and procedures.
  • Create and deliver training and conduct annual training for employees per specific OSHA, DOT + EPA regulations and company procedures.
  • Function as a resource and knowledge champion to the site Safety Committee, First Responders, and to site management.
  • Investigate industrial accidents and eliminate any unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain site EHS records and prepare required EHS government reports.
  • Ensure that EHS risk management awareness, principles, tools, standards and practices are consistently embedded across the organization.
  • Engage with Operating Units to ensure all risks are appropriately articulated, understood, documented, owned, prioritized and monitored and that effective controls are in place.
  • Inspect works areas to ensure compliance with organization safety policies, OSHA, DOT and all federal, state and local regulatory safety requirements.
  • Evaluate equipment and the workspace to identify safety and ergonomic opportunities. Recommend proper safety equipment for employees.
  • Collect company data, track and report EHS metrics timely and accurately.
  • Support all locations during external and internal compliance audits.

Experience

Required
    • At least five (5) years related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and skills as an EHS leader.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, both internal and external.
    • Ability to plan, schedule and coordinate individual project activities within a larger project scope.
Preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (technical, safety or engineering preferred). Commensurate work experience will be duly considered.
