Job Title: Corporate Event Coordinator
Location: Atlanta, GA
Position Summary
We are seeking a Corporate Event Coordinator to join NCR at our Global HQ in Atlanta, GA. Event Coordinator should have high energy, a great attitude and the ability to work in a structured SMM driven program. Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and executing a variety of corporate events, with responsibility to manage small to medium programs from beginning to end (including the creative, technical and logistical elements) as well as support large scale events. This includes event design, logistics, budgeting, negotiation, vendor management, staff management and client service.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize, develop, promote, and execute a successful event experience, includes budgeting, scheduling, site selection, acquiring necessary permits, coordinating transportation and parking, arranging for speakers or entertainers, arranging décor, event security, catering and emergency plans.
  • Establish relationships with vendors, suppliers, distributors, and hotels.
  • Manage event budgets to ensure that the cost of the event remains under the pre-determined cost.
  • Facilitate communication with professionals, including venue management, booth designers, caterers, contractors, and equipment rentals.
  • Coordinate roles and responsibilities of internal staff and hired agencies for each event.
  • Collaborate with on-site teams, schedules and ensure follow through of all event deliverables.
  • Work with creative services for each project is aligned for the audience as well as within brand guidelines.
  • Establish a strong relationship with internal clients to build a swift and successful execution plan.
  • Execute goals and measure results for each event. Develop executive level briefs pre- and post- event to communicate progress and results.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 2 - 4 years of experience running small to medium scale events and conferences
  • Ability to travel (up to 25% of time)
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced environment; work effectively and efficiently to support and maintain good relationships with internal departments, clients and suppliers
  • Must be able to assist in presenting concepts and budgets to secure approvals and agreements
  • Ability to assist in conflict problem solving internally and with suppliers/stakeholders
  • Must be comfortable to drive cost savings - Track, Report and Audit Cost Savings
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint
