SUMMARY
The Recruiter, Corporate manages the full cycle recruiting process to meet various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units at Hibbett I City Gear’s store support center. Participates in the workforce planning process and identifies staff vacancies to recruit, interview and select applications. Monitors hiring requisitions throughout the year to ensure alignment with budgeting positions for the fiscal year. Partners with hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of Hibbett I City Gear to deliver the best talent for the requisition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the full cycle recruiting process.
- Creates and implements employment-marketing strategies to attract passive job seekers.
- Maintain knowledge of current strategies for using social media for sourcing.
- Hire employees and manage the onboarding process.
- Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, and/or promotion opportunities.
- Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Manage the scheduling of candidate interviews.
- Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and to maximize the effectiveness of the recruitment process. Confer with hiring managers to implement processes for candidate selection based on knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendation when appropriate.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent for our multi-site
- Organization.
- Conduct regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
- Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Develop relationships with prospective talent and manage on-going business relationships with hiring managers and business leaders.
- Monitor hiring requisitions throughout the year to ensure alignment with budgeted positions for the fiscal year.
- Represent Hibbett I City Gear by participating in college career fairs and market Hibbett I City Gear’s recruiting brand for future talent needs.
- Protect the company’s assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Recruiting
- Experience recruiting for a retail company preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication and planning and organization skills.
