Responsibilities:

As an Overton Professional Security Officer you will be a part of a results oriented team responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all who enter our serviced properties. It is expected that you will demonstrate behavior consistent with Overton Security core value of serving, protecting and caring.

As a Professional Security Officer you must:

• Assure the protection of the personnel and property of the Client, including employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, etc. at all times.
• Assure that reasonable measures are taken to prevent crimes, incidents or offenses before they happen.
• Routinely patrol the property's premises on foot, or using designated vehicle, to prevent and detect signs of suspicious activity, safety hazards, or irregularities.
• Provide accurate and detailed observations and write clear concise reports of daily activities, incidents including Priority issues, and maintenance issues.
• Always be courteous, and customer oriented, providing support to persons whenever possible.
• Uphold and maintain the confidentiality of privileged information acquired during the course of your duty at all times.
• Be ready, willing and capable to undertake all responsibilities of the site expectations.

MUST HAVE:

Valid CA Guard Card

Valid CA Drivers License or CA ID

Must be at least 21 years of age (for insurance purposes)

Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private)

Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English

Must have a High School Diploma or GED

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to be customer service oriented, with the ability to interact with all levels of individuals in a courteous manner

Must have flexible availability, ability to work shifts and days as required by the position. Must have weekend availability.
