Summary: As corporate recruiter you will be responsible for filling all open positions for an organization. As well as conducting the process from the stage of locating potential applicants via various sources, to interviewing and offering positions to qualified applicants.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Locate qualified, potential applicants using databases or online job posting boards
  • Communicate with potential applicants by phone, email, or in person
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates for various positions within an organization
  • Create job announcements that list requirements for each job, such as desired work experience, education, and job skills
  • Apply principles of behavioral interviewing to access the qualifications of candidates
  • Investigate referrals, references, and social media sources to formulate a well-rounded view of applicants
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with colleges and local organizations to participate in job fairs or networking events
  • Prepare attracting hiring packages and communicate with selected applicants to offer employment
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in technical and/or in Human Resources or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience preferably from Staffing / Consulting oriented experience (prior experience in technical roles a plus)
  • PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus
  • Hands on experience on best principles and practices in Talent Acquisition field
  • Working knowledge of various software packages (i.e., MS Office, ADP etc)
  • Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Willingness to use cold or warm calling methods to recruit or research potential applicants

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
