• Develop and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with community partners in the social service, civic, government and faith-based communities
• Assist low-income residents of the county to access services that further their self-reliance, including temporary financial and supportive assistance and developmental programming as determined by the annual CSBG Budget Plan and Proposal and Agency Strategic Plan
• Administer assistance programs including, but not limited to: The Low-Income Energy Assistance Program, WinterCare, supplemental and emergency food programs, and various monetary assistance programs
• Responsible for county-specific reporting requirements, including Monthly Reports, ROMA and CSBG reports, in-kind donation and volunteer logs, and others, as needed
• Maintain county and center files, customer records and the CASTiNET database, including adhering to record maintenance and retention policies, as needed
• Engage customers and community partners in the annual needs assessment process by administering the tool and performing data collection on responses
• Recruit and provide case management and goal coaching to appropriate customers using the approved Strengths-Based Case Management model
• Recruit, schedule and help facilitate developmental classes for customers of the Neighborhood Center and community. Classes may include financial literacy, home ownership preparation, energy conservation, budgeting and credit
• Recruit qualified customers for one-on-one counseling for home ownership preparation
• Oversee Community Workers, AmeriCorps Workers, SCSEP, Stipend trainees and volunteers, as assigned, including providing training, daily and weekly tasks, and, approve time sheets
• Management of County Center, including day-to-day operations, the intake or triage process by which consumers access services within the center, and oversight of all services and goods distributed to consumers of the center
• Provide Volunteer Income Tax Assistance clinics and outreach activities in assigned counties (VITA)
• Administer and distribute emergency food and shelter program (EFSP) funding in assigned counties
• Distribute and conduct county-specific programming and funds from discretionary accounts and fiscal court funds
• Assures compliance with all program and grant requirements
• Other duties as assigned

• Degree in social work/human services preferred, High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in social work/human services
• Supervisory, organizational, training, and operational skills
• Computer experience, including Microsoft Office and internet research, and ability to learn specialized computer databases, as needed
• Knowledge of northern Kentucky community, agencies and resources
• Excellent record keeping skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work with people of diverse and varying sociology-economic backgrounds

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs up to 50% of the time
• Ability to sit at, read, and enter data on computer for prolonged periods of time up to 100% of the time
